Associate Deputy Headteacher

The Governors are seeking to appoint to the post of Associate Deputy Headteacher.
In the continued pursuit of excellence, we are looking to strengthen the leadership of school by offering the opportunity for committed, enthusiastic and outstanding practitioner to work with the Senior Leadership Team commencing in September 2026.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated senior leader, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding practice at Assistant Headteacher level or above. They will demonstrate strategic vision, a commitment to excellence and the ability to inspire and lead others. Specific areas of responsibility will be determined following appointment; however, the role will include strategic oversight of inclusion across the school.
Applications should be addressed to Mrs Rongong, in a letter (maximum 2 sides of A4, font size 12 Arial). Candidates should reflect on their contribution to the distinctive Christian ethos of the school, how their experience to date has prepared them for this role, and give a brief outline of what they can bring to strengthen work on the current school improvement priorities.
Details of the interview day will be provided to shortlisted candidates. However, applicants may wish to know that that shortlisted will be expected to prepare a presentation on the following theme:
‘“Every leader is a leader of inclusion.” How would you ensure this vision is fully understood, implemented and sustained across the school over the next three years?’
